Juan Gris (1887–1927) was a Spanish painter who moved to Paris in 1906 and became one of the key figures of Cubism.

Compared with Picasso and Braque, his work is clearer and more structured, with crisp shapes and harmonious colour. His still lifes are some of the most elegant works of the movement.
